      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Solved] Server setup problems

wellI've got it up and working. I also found the problem. the first day I tried to set-up the server I checked my IP-address and put it in the server properties file. we used the vanilla server though and got a vanilla world. my sister (on another computer in the network) was able to join. however I checked my IP-address again today because maybe I was making a mistake but instead I found a whole new IP (actually just the last part) but it was not even close to what I got before. I entered the new IP into the server properties and now its working thank you very much for your help. you can close this thread now.
  2. [Solved] Server setup problems

Just one last question (I hope), where I could just start the server before it will now shut down because I didn't open the port. however I tried putting it on offline mode in the server properties but it will still not run properly. the server is intended for LAN and my father has an IT company so he doesn't want to port forward anything in case of someone trying to hack the network. Is there any possibilty that I can run a server just for LAN without opening a port?
  3. [Solved] Server setup problems

it still wont start up. I dont know what im missing though. I installed the Forge server directly into this folder. My guess would be that it has something to do with the server properties but I don't really have the knowledge to guess actually.
  4. [Solved] Server setup problems

  5. [Solved] Server setup problems

Have you read, understood, and followed all of the rules listed in large text at the top of the support forum? (Yes/No): Answering "no" to the above question will result in your post being deleted. Yes TFC Version #:[079.25.845] Forge Version #:forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1541-1.7.10-universal Please note that an actual number must be provided for both of the above fields. Simply saying "current" or "latest" will result in your post being locked, due to the fact that in a large number of cases, users who say they are using the "latest" or "current" version are actually using an outdated version. SSP/SMP (SinglePlayer/MultiPlayer):multiplayer Have you deleted your config files or are using default configs and are still able to reproduce this bug? (Yes/No):yes If you answered no to the above question, delete all 3 TFC config files (TFCCrafting, TFCConfig, TFCOre), do NOT edit or add to any of the files, and try to reproduce the bug. This question is here because many bugs are caused by mistakes in config files. If you are unable to delete your edited config files, please provide a list of the config options you have changed. Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed? (Yes/No):yes If yes, which mods? fastcraft- 1.21 If you have Optifine or Cauldron installed, can you still reproduce the bug after uninstalling them? (Yes/No):neither installed If you answered no to the above question, uninstall Optifine/Cauldron and try to reproduce the bug. Both Optifine and Cauldron edit the base classes of forge that TFC uses. Because of this, we cannot officially support any issues that happen only when these mods are installed. In the majority of cases, TFC is not causing the bug; Optifine/Cauldron is and TFC can do nothing to fix it. All bug reports should have an answer of "Yes" to this question. If you refuse to uninstall Optifine/Cauldron, and cannot reproduce the bug when the mods are not installed, do not bother making a bug report, as it will be locked and ignored. Pastebin.com link of the Crash Report:no crash report Description:im trying to start a server to play on LAN so that I wont have to port forward however when im trying to run the .bat file given in the server set-up guide it will tell me that it has occured an error. it says : ''C:/Users/..... >java Xmn1G -Xmx2G -Xmx2G -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1541-1.7.10-universal.jar error occured during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for 209715KB object heap'' (note that after /Users/ is some more folder names but that shouldnt be of interest. the name of the folder before the >java... is the name of the folder in which the Forge and normal servers are located) The whole thing is thus about 200mb and I do know that I atleast have enough disk space on my C: (about 30Gb left) also I only have the forge server and the normal 1.7.10 server in the folder (and the .bat), not the world, mods, and logs folder etc. if I press the normal server once it will however create those but I cannot seem to get TFC to work anymore then. I've tried to make this description as detailed as possible and I hope to get some help soon
