ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Hello, I'm creating a new modpack with TFC, can you provide me formula of veins spawning with tfc's vein generation and which is averages volumes of each vein's sizes?

Can I diable ore gen of TFC and what mean in tfcore.cfg parameters verticaldensity, horizontaldensity and which size means each size of vein

For example player will spawn in spherical world and when he get to the northern or south pole will be teleported on the opposite pole. The same with the west and east. In addition it is necessary to come up with something about situation when player ride a horse, on minecart, on boat and when for exapmle player ride by train from Railcraft with his own inventory. In addition you can add an achievment to a trip around the world or when the whole world is explored.

I want know how working TFC's ore gen. What I means? I meanes that when world is generating how you spawn ores, you are calculating chance of spawn every vein ore separately or you with this formule chance=ch1/ch2*100%(ch1 is probability or "mass" of vein and ch2 is the sum of the masses of all veins). Tell me that I would know how to adjust the ore generation and said how I can change parameters ore gen.

I want change it to 144mb because maybe in all mods uses that rate:144mb is 1 ingot. If I can fix it could don't rewrite recipes.

I'm reading now tfc wiki and found that orest with MBT higher than 15 can't be spawn. You didn't have anyway to fix it? If thats true write please some mods which added only many ores which I later can use with Minetweaker for GregTech?

Make please that when player cut trees, he will receive saplings, because if you don't want uglify the space around yourself(I mean the lack of trees), you must firstly cut leaves and then cut tree.

I mean, let's say you can add to the configs(unless tfc is not abandoned) line which allows you to generate ores from other mods. If you do not need to have ore from all mods, you can disable ore generation in other mods.

Portals VS Ships

Why did you create the portals that allow you to navigate with some fantastic measurements at large distances, that would not overcome the problem with water travel? Add multiple ships(something like what was in Archimedes' Ships), which will need a lot of resources and for travel between the Islands the player will have for a long time to stock up on food and drinking water, also overcoming other difficulties. If you need to reduce the aimless journey, add instead of portals card, which will indicate the location of the Islands.
