      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Having tongs or other items might be difficult to implement or at least until we have more slots to put stuff in (like armor). But you could craft a leather apron from leather, which could be used for cooking/butchering. Then further craft the leather apron with tongs/gloves to create a blacksmith's apron. I would not mind if it would be required to wear or at least making it easier/faster/loose less heat to smith.

    I dont think this has been brought up yet, but requiring a blacksmith apron to be worn in order to use the anvil/forge/bloomery/metallurgy table would fit in the realm of this mod. I am not sure how difficult it would be to implement but using a modified vanilla leather tunic recipe could work. As of now it is seems kinda wired that people can be smelting and forging tools with armor on or no protection. This idea would also fit in with other ideas such as butchering. As an aside, I know that you dont want to change the prospector pick, but it would be cool if different types of picks worked slightly different. For example, some propicks would search more in the z direction then others while others more in-front or to the side. So a knowledgeable prospector with multiply types of propicks could better locate ores. It would give another reason to try and create other picks from other materials besides durability.
