      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. [Problem] TFCLauncher keeps getting 403 error

I have a solution for Mac, which could also work on Windows but the directions I'll give will be for Mac since Windows already seem to have a solution working for them. Lets start with what you need to get this done, - This uses Magic Launcher [ http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/939149-launcher-magic-launcher-100-mods-options-news/ ], so you'll need to download that app. - You'll also need your mods, Forge, PlayerAPI, and of course TFC itself, all of which you can find links to download on TFC's download page in the manual installation section. If there are any other mods you want to add such as optifine, gather those together too. I suggest having all the mods you are going to use in one folder, this folder can go anywhere. - You'll need a minecraft.jar in version 1.5.1, you may already have one and if not it's easy to find online [ie http://mcmnat.blogspot.com/p/clean-minecraft-jar.html ]. The jar from TFC Launcher is modded and does not work for me in this process so don't try using that. Some Preperation, There are two directories that are important for you to find on your computer, one is the place where plain Minecraft is stored and the other is where TFC Launcher stores it's files. Magic Launcher will use the plain minecraft folder. [your harddrive] / Users / [your home folder] / Library / Application Support / minecraft / [your harddrive] / Users / [your home folder] / Library / Application Support / tfcraft / minecraft / In the interest of space I'll truncate my reference to this folders from now on. If you want to import your single player world from TFC Launcher, find it's save folder is in ; .../ Application Support / tfcraft / minecraft / saves / [yoursavefolder]. Copy it, careful not to overwrite an existing world, to; .../ Application Support / minecraft / saves , and you should be able to load it. Same goes for texture packs. Take a v1.5.1 minecraft.jar and copy it then name it something clear like "minecraft 151.jar" and place it in your minecraft bin folder, be sure not to overwrite any other jar in there when you do this; …/ Application Support / minecraft / bin To set up Magic Launcher, Open MagicLauncher.app. Click the 'Setup' button. Click the 'New' button at the top, make a new configuration named something clear like "TFC 151". Where is says Minecraft.jar, if the number does not already say 1.5.1 then click the "select" button and choose the jar you just put in the bin folder. Now to add mods. Click the 'Add' button on the right, start by navigating to the mod folder I suggested you prepared, then choose to add Forge. It is very important you add forge first, before the other mods, if it is not at the top of the list this will not work. Then add TFCraft next. Then Player API. And lastly any other mods, I am using Optifine which works fine [177fps] I expect minima's and the rest will work fine too. Now click 'OK'. Make sure the configuration selected in the popup window is the one you just built. Put in your minecraft login information, and click 'Login', the game should be ready to play! Hope that is helpful to someone
