ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Yeah, we talked about buff's a while ago. dunk came in and said no buff's, but we will go ahead and debuff on grass and stuff.

Sucks... But in real life attempting to move within 10 meters of lava would start to incinerate you, 1 meter? you never existed. I think 4 or 5 is highly generous. Quicksand is so dangerous because people don't realize they are standing on it. All quicksand is is a mixture of dirts and sands over an air pocket. enter person and FLOOP, in goes the air pocket, now you've got quicksand.

i think you may be thinking of lances or throwing spears, the former of which was almost always wood with a metal TIP, the latter very rarely all metal do to balance and aerodynamics. thank newton!

Don't remember how much dirt was shoveled, just it had to be enough when compacted to flatten and raise the front yard of the house to a point.

You can vanilla strip mine, and take all tedious work out of the propick... as it can show areasof INTREST not exact locations, and im with eternal, someone said make the sluice more accurate.

New hazard, proximity burns and death from lava. Being in x, 4 or 5, meters(blocks) of lava will burn or kill you.

Metallic handles are a double edged sword. their durability is amazing, but the weight and brittleness could cause severe injury and cause the tool to not function properly. Historically, very few tools or weapons used metal handles due to the fact that it ruined balance. Nowadays, most "metal handles" are actually fiberglass or polymer.

Give back the gobstopper though, and you win. Maybe sluices could have something else done, like maybe more nerf's because of the size of the stuff being put in. (i've shoveled meters of dirt, not fun)

Dev's said no buffs to speed, but they can do debuffs. Also, tar/pitch might be replaced by mortar or nails for buildings.

Why change something that isn't broken? The mechanic works fine, and is part of TerraFirmacraft for a small time because of how extremely tedious it is. also, the dev's plan on extending your stay in the stone age, so your flake suggestion is unlikely.

This is implemented with saturation. We cant see this, but meats fill it the most, then bread, then melons, then apples. Already in vanilla. :3
