      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Simply, to add another use for charcoal, cooking bones would result in bone marrow, which one could eat.

oh. Uh... hmmm.

I don't think people have problems with too much charcoal and not enough food.

It would be neat, I agree, but the things that drop said bones are long dead, so any marrow left, if any would be rancid and foul. Besides, can't bones be uses to make tools? I think that's what most people would use them for.

Plus the wolves... Always need some attack wolves :P

I usually don't have enoguht sticks, because i'm too lazy for breaking every single leave of the trees before cutting them down... that's why skeletons now fear of me :3

Holy crap.... i seriously wrote charcoal.... Damn you Freudian Slip! i meant bones lol, as bones are fairly useless in my opinion, i have mountains of sticks for tool heads, and i never dye wool.

Why would you need to die wool back into white anyways? unless you screwed up and dyed some wool in a color you didn't meant to use :

The lighter dyes mate, though those are all ugly compared to the richer versions (unless the wool is changed in texture to be more wooly i.e. special TFC wool meaning it is easy to use for further wool uses)

other than that they could go into early jewellery, grave making (players or pets die and drop bones) or maybe just more fuel for a fire in a pinch. Bones pretty much would be just early era desperation resources, other than that some Minecraftian formed religion (please for the love of turtles don't ever take that seriously or worse; actually start doing it.........oh gosh....the flame wars *shudder*)
