      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Agree! i have x-ray texture pack and i see a ravine here and there but but the only cave i fond is one in desert biome and it had some tetrahidrate exposed and i filled 5 backpacks(alt inv mod) with bistmunt...,sphalerite and tethraderite...

The caves are currently, for some reason (possibly a bug?) *majorly* concentrated along a 45-degree slope on the x/y axes.

At the center of the concentration, you'll find hundreds of caves that all touch each other, merge, separate, etc - much like vanilla.

The further you get from this line, the more sparse caves get, and begin to turn into tiny rarities.

I suspect you're far from the line.

I'm still trying to figure out what is determining the position of the line, but I suspect it's a small math error somewhere.

I like vanilla caves much more xD because caving relaxes me and after a 20-minute caving i get back with ~3-5 stacks of iron roe and now with ender chests it is going to be more :D

Well I'm the exact inverse of that, it makes me a bit frustrated when I can't clear out a cave with modest amounts of ore in one go as opposed to the never ending caves that go into mineshafts and ravines and whatever dumb thing Jeb plots up next. As it is in vanilla you can walk into a cave and go the quickest route to the bottom and come out with full diamond everything after the second day. Then you go to the nether, find nothing scary or useful so you grind endermen (that sounds so bad) for access to the (boring) end

There, a Minecraft minus the craft summed up in less than a paragraph
