3. Bioxx doesn't treat his players this way, why would he want his staff to? Staff should be held accountable for their actions as they are public representatives of these forums and this mod.

Funny that you say that, I'm in the works of making an extra large sequoia tree from the blocks thereof, ladder up the middle and the whole thing topped with a quaint little shack I can throw javelins at the neighbors from.

That said, whatever code that tells the axe not to pop every single wood log block attached the placed log you're cutting (like a normal tree) could also be used to tell the axe to break the placed log faster. While I understand dealing with the consequences of places a block, I can't imagine it's much harder to "pick up" a placed log as a block of planks.

Forum drama aside and to the topic at hand:

I really like building things out of logs. They're basically my favorite aesthetic block. I loved the fact that we could place logs.

What should probably happen is that a separate block ID should be added that doesn't behave like a tree 'log' and instead is its own placeable block so it can respond differently to being axed.
