      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Bad video card drivers!

-----------------------

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.

This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Try writing "minecraft 7fe0271" on google (without the " ") and the first 2 must be two vids that can help you.

copy and paste this into a notepad, and place into the same folder/area you have your minecraft.exe. it will launch it with less ram, the problem your having is an integrated chipset where your graphics accelerator is not getting any ram, because the game steal it all at start up.

(mind you you may have to edit the java directory if its different)

name the text document as Minecraft.bat or launch.bat or something.

"C:Program FilesJavajre7binjava" -Xmx800m -Xms800m -jar minecraft.exe

pause

Dx3D won't affect this because it's using OpenGL. The two are completely separate APIs.

If what Fanz suggests doesn't work (make sure you have enough RAM in your system...) then I would suggest just uninstalling your video drivers (completely) and rebooting. Windows should default to some lesser driver, then you can install the proper ones after.

^Agreed. It could just be a bug, or corruption in your video drivers, so if my fix doesn't work, definitely try that. I just had to help my boyfriend with that haha.
