      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Should I Upgrade to 1.4.2?

I'm playing TFC with the vanilla iron recipe turned on so that I can create and use maps. I'd like to start using the new maps in 1.4.2 except that from everything I've heard 1.4.2 is pretty buggy. I could wait for TFC to update to 1.4.4, but I don't know if Bioxx is even planning on doing an update for 1.4.4.

How badly do the bugs in 1.4.2 affect TFC play? Is it significant enough that I should hold tight until the next TFC release?

The builds in the 50s were a bit rough, but at 66 things are quite playable. There's no bugs that are likely going to kill your game play. You should use MultiMC and then you can run both.
