      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Bloomery upgrade

With all the bloomery problems, i'd like to make a suggestion that could solve this problem, and maybe add a new feature.

When the bloomery runs out of fuel, it outputs the leftover ore in form of nuggets or chunks, depending on the quantity.

There are 2 outputs for the ore like Tetrahedrite.

It could look something like this:

well even though this might not have to do with your ideas, i've been thinking of actual bloomery upgrades or sidegrades

things like blast furnaces or kilns that would be like the bloomery or forge but would serve different purpouses

Actually, if RL bloomery runs out of fuel - you screwed. Ore chunks, molten rock and metal melt down into mighty cork and you will probably waste a lot of fuel to get something out of this bloomery again.

From what I know from being involved with the mod a long time and chatting with Bioxx in the IRC is that he isn't looking to rewrite the bloomery code as it is a lot of work for very little ingame changes. And the current crashbug is fixed for the next build so jay!

(And yes, would be nice to have kilns and other types of furnace-like "refineries")

Well if the bug is fixed then my suggestion is irrelevant.
