      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I find myself unable to open minecraft after installing Terraria. Here's the crashlog: http://paste.ubuntu.com/1578428/

I should mention that initially, the problem was as simple as me not having the right version of Minecraft/Forge, but now that I've fixed that this is happening. Help?

Oh, and I'm running Windows 8. Might that have something to do with it?

from what i have read until now, and with my limited understanding of java.

try to decrease the amount of memory you assign, it seems to have less than it requests and try the whole reinstall thing

(new jar new player api forge and TFC + deleting your config files)

should work (i think so)

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Minecraft exited with code 1.

Minecraft has crashed!

This almost always happens to me when i use a 32bit java version.

Try uninstalling all Java versions and install the latest 64bit version.
