      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Idea for firepits!

how about you make a 3D texture for the firepit (like the camping mod) and make it abit more realistic as in you take damage when you step on it?

I don't like the idea that you take damage stepping on it. It's already hard enough to move around without overlapping blocks, and you have to assume that the body you are using is at least as capable of avoiding a contained fire as it is tripping, getting stuck in mud, or bumping its head.

But the graphic is sweet.

I think campfires should deal some damage to the player if they walk over it, maybe not lighting them on fire as lava or a fire would, but definitely hurting as you step over the hot coals

I'd say make it so that if you are standing on it for too long then you would take damage?
