Some Hopefully Minor Suggestions from a Year-Long Fan

Hello, all.

I have been playing TerraFirmaCraft on and off for a bit over a year now, and I recently took it up again. There are a few things I would like to see addressed or implemented, but the mod is still wonderful as it is, and I am not even remotely upset with the way it currently works.

So, without more redundant introduction, let's get this show on the road.

Books and Bookshelves. I tried making books with the leather you can make by tanning it (The process of which, by the way, I absolutely love), and I really think my house could benefit from having a few bookshelves, even if they were completely useless apart from for decoration. (However, that being said, what you COULD do is make it so the scribing table still has uses after you're done making the sixteen or whatever plans by making it so you can write books, then put them in bookshelves. That would, of course, require more work, and I'm fine with just vanilla bookshelves from vanilla Minecraft, I just want some way to craft them in TFC.)

Boats. I can make them with plank blocks, but that's because they use the vanilla recipe, which treats plank blocks in much the same way that TFC treats regular planks. Being able to make boats out of planks would be very nice.

Stairs. I would love to be able to pick up or break wooden stairs with an axe. I say pick up OR break because at this point I honestly just want to be able to tear up stairs if I don't like where they are. Along a similar line, I would be very grateful for connecting stairs like in vanilla, but I understand if you're busy.

I would like to place sluices next to other sluices, but that's not necessary.

The sluice GUI often bugs out on me and when I look at it when it's in the process of sorting through gravel or sand, then I exit the GUI, the GUI (sans the output bit, which still updates properly), will be frozen where it was when I return unless it is still processing through stuff.

Pumpkins and mushrooms are useless. I kinda wish they could be used for food, if only in meals.

I am certain I have more, and I'll post them later.

Currently any chiseled item, wood or stone, are broken with a pickaxe; stairs included. I do agree that this should be changed though so that wooden chiseled items are broken with an axe.

books are actually written in the scribing table now, so that is already implemented, i would like to be able to place them in bookshelves though

As I understand it TFC books are able to be written, read and edited by players, however in build 76 this function is bugged or disabled or something.

Which is an awful shame, as this could be very useful to record specific meal recepies in a world.
