      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Troubles Making A Server through Fragnet

I was wondering if anyone has some easy to follow instructions for setting up a TFC server through Fragnet. I believe I have the ForgeMod already up and running on it, but cannot get the TFC components working.

If you can start up the server and it has forge installed, all you need to do is put the TFC download in your server's mod folder.

There was no mods folder. I created one, and put the zip in there. Also tried unzipping it in there.

 

Should I try to put it in the plugins folder?

You shouldn't need to unzip anything, and you also shouldn't have a plugins folder if it's just forge. Are you sure you did the regular Forge Server and not the BukkitForge or similar server?

To be honest, I am quite lost. This is my first time trying to set up a server through Fragnet. I do see that bukkit is disabled, and I am running the server type of ForgeMod.

I used Fragnet a while back so things might have changed but from what I remember, you must rename your jar file to match the one selected in the panel. It was something like ForgeMod.jar I think.

Alright, I started over from the beginning today. I can't remember which Jar file to rename to ForgeMod that I, at one point, had working yesterday. Is it the client or server jar?

Wow. This was so easy once I found out I didn't have to do it manually. If anyone else needs help setting a server up through Fragnet let me know.

Yep, I use FragNet and it's super-easy to set up Forge (and numerous other pre-loaded types) for the server using their server management interface.
