      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Animals, becoming mini?

11 posts in this topic

So I'm on SMP with several friends, we all have this one small settlement together.

We have pigs, and cows in large pens.

However, after a certain amount of time passes, the animals become the size of maybe 1/16th of a block. These are not the offspring that we have from them either. We actually thought we lost all of them until we started digging and found micro cows and pigs popping up and down from the terrain.

Is there any known workaround for this or is this just a bug in the existing mod?

Welcome to the Forums!

At any time did an OP on the server us a time changing command such as /time set 0 or /time set day? The size of the animals is based off of the time that has passed in the game, and both of these commands return this clock back to zero, making it so that the animals have a negative age, and therefore render incorrectly.

additionally, if you used vanilla spawn eggs to get your animals, you can have weird rendering issues.

That would probably be it. Great to know, maybe that command should be disabled in the mod? If that's even possible anyways.

yeah, after this I've already changed it. in b78, you won't be able to set the time to before the current time, with /time set day and night updated to skip to the next night/morning instead of the very first one.

I had the same problem, and did /time set 100000000 and everything came back to normal. But it can kill a player

Any idea why this would be happening in a singleplayer game that has never ever had the time command or any cheats used? Because I thought my cows had vanished (had 2 calves born, went on a long trip to find fluxstone, came back with only my 3 original adults in the pen.) Recently was leading a new female pig toward my pen and tiny cows began leaping out of the dirt around my cow pen. They are seriously micro, not just glitched into the terrain but also very very tiny.
