      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Burlap Sack

8 posts in this topic

With the Introduction of Jute, it is only fitting that jute should be used for more than just rope

Burlap, created from Jute fibers (maybe sheets made from the fibers, like wool), could be used as a more advanced way to store more than the vessels in portable inventory as well for food storage.

Burlap sacks could used to store 6 slots rather than the 4 in the Ceramic Vessel.

As a general idea, how do you think of this?

I like this, maybe the sacks could be hung on a hook, or peg, and they would look like sand colored blocks with a small opening.

Actually, he put the idea about jute and burlap bags before jute came out, so....

Since this topic follows the new rules of a single idea per post, and the storage and furniture suggests a crapload of stuff at once, I won't be merging the topics.

Maybe, However, there is only one ever mention of burlap (or even your mention of Jute) on his thread besides the OP and that was long after I made this post (maybe coincidence). IDK if he had it before or if it was an edit... (it doesn't matter)

No matter how it is handled, Burlap will definitely be an improvement for storage (Hopefully food storage).

I think burlap should only store food, seeds, and grains but in large amounts
