      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Servers being lame :P

I want to join some TFC servers, but it keeps saying my Forge Mod Loader couldn't connect and the mods listed weren't found. This is getting very irritating because I see a server and it just says type IP to join, then the Game says that same message. Am I doing something wrong? How could I fix this issue?

Do you have the mods listed installed? Are you sure you're using the same versions that the server is using?

 

You can't connect to a server unless your client has all the same mods as the server has.

The thing is is that I DON'T KNOW what mods the servers have installed, the people don't friggen put them up on their pages.

Currently I run 

MCP: v8.11

FML v6.4.49.956Minecraft Forge 9.11.1.956

Odd, I'm using your exact same version. Yesterday our server owner installed the gravestone mod, when I tried to log in it told me that I was missing the following mod (Mod Name, Version) Same should happen on any modded server; it will list your current missing mods.

That list of mods that you're getting in the not found error? Those are the mods that the server has installed, and that you need to install.

 

Edit: You don't have TFC listed in the list of mods that you are currently running. Do you even have TFC installed?

Edit: I managed to fix this issue, I updated all the mods, TFC and what not
