      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Sheets for all metals?

I was wandering if we could make sheets for the non-tool metals for decoration use.

Don't know if it may cause some incompatibility with the double ingot recipies though.

You can, to my knowledge you can make metal sheets of all the metals. look on the wiki to make sure.

 

"¹For compatibility reasons, double ingots, sheets and double sheets can be made from any metal. However, not every item has a valid use. This chart shows items which have a valid use in vanilla TFC. If you make a useless item, it can be recycled back into molten metal in a Crucible, or in a Forge that has ceramic molds in the side slots."

Metal Sheets are created by working Double Ingots on an Anvil.

For compatibility reasons, sheets can be made from any metal. However, not every sheet has a valid use. If you make a useless sheet, it can be recycled back into molten metal in a Crucible, or in a Forge that has ceramic molds in the side slots.

 

The page's gallery also has an image of a metal sheet made out of every single metal in the game:

The chart doesn't show sheets in all metals, but if you look closely there is a little ¹ next to both Double Ingot, Sheet and Double Sheet in the title of the chart. This means that there is fine print down below. So you scroll down to find the matching ¹, which states: 

  • For compatibility reasons, double ingots, sheets and double sheets can be made from any metal. However, not every item has a valid use. This chart shows items which have a valid use in vanilla TFC.
