      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Solved][0.79.2] Seaweed / Lava interaction

Version #: 0.79.2.195SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): SSPSuggested Name: Untextured block where lava meets seagrass.Suggested Category: MinorDescription: A lava fissure generated next to the ocean, generating obsidian where the lava touched the water. I noticed the purple & black "missing texture" pattern below some seaweed, so I installed WAILA so I could identify it. I tried breaking the seaweed so I could get my cursor over the mysterious block, but the block disappeared. I found some more, and tried breaking an adjacent block instead, and WAILA identified the block as Seagrass. Picture here. (Gave myself nightvision potion for visibility). I looked at some "normal" seaweed and noticed that WAILA identifies the block below the visible seaweed as Seagrass too, so I'm guessing there's some special rendering going on here and that Seagrass is technically two blocks tall, and doesn't like having it's bottom block replaced with obsidian.Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: YesDo you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: Yes, NEI, WAILA, Journeymap, Fastcraft.

Actually seagrass is a special block. Because rendering water has all its own special stuff, we made seagrass render as part of the block below it. So the sand beneath that seaweed is actualyl a fake sand block. when you harvest the seagrass in any way, it turns into a real version of that block. That's why waila tells you its seagrass. As for the texture bug, thanks for the report, easy fix .

Suggested Name: Untextured seagrass block

Suggested Category: Minor

Description: Broke the block of seagrass and the block below disappeared (looks to be intentional from your post). Had item of "Seagrass" in my inventory without any texture (so not even the missing texture 'texture'), could only see the item count. Placed block on ground and became x-ray machine for a few seconds and then turned into a solid block with the "missing texture" (magenta/black checker pattern). Tried several times and was repeatable every time. Side-note block had physics enabled to when it converted to the missing texture block it would fall.

Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: Yes

Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: Yes - Fastcraft.
