      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I think there is already a server running. I had a certain issue with TFC that it did not properly shutdown and the Java process was lingering indefinitely. If you get such a crash, could you check how many Java processes are existing? (ctrl-shift-ESC for task manager in Windows)

Thanks for your reply. I checked but there weren't other Java processes running. I also tried to restart Windows which also didn't help.

Are you able to start the server with just Minecraft and Forge installed? No TFC?

If it crashes without TFC installed, then your problem has nothing to do with TFC. Looking at the initial crash report, you did not install forge properly. You need to be using the installer that you can download from forge to install. You should not be doing anything with the universal.jar
