Removal of anvil's automatic plan selection

Is there a special reason why the automatic plan selection was removed?

 

I play Technofirmacraft, which requires a lot of ingots for other mods, and it's really annoying to have to select the ingot plan each time.

 

For example for a 840% iron bloom you have to select following plans:

 

1x Refine Bloom

1x Split Bloom

8x Wrought Iron Ingot

 

That's 20 additional clicks for each bloom while the material is cooling down. Same thing for steel production, where intermediate materials allow only a single plan.

 

I'd really appreciate if the automatic plan selection would be re-enabled for things that allow only a single plan.

Also, you can melt refined iron blooms of 100 units or less in a crucible or forge instead of turning them into ingots in the anvil.
