      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

The textures are not a texture pack. They get installed with the mod as if it was part of it. They are only separate for the ease of uploading the updates I think.

I get that. I am trying to install the texture pack made for this, not talking about TFC_textures zip.

EDIT: The mod/Minecraft works fine, only crashes when I try to switch a texturepack, any texture pack, not just to Breathesleep's Official pack.

Ahhhhhhhhh ok. Hmmm sorry that I don't know. I'm actually not big on texture packs lol. Wish I could help.

I'm not big on them either, but I figured I would give the TFC Official one a shot, seeing as how it says it doesn't change much, just helps the new tools/etc look a bit better.

And no worries, I appreciate the time you took to help, regardless of outcome :)

I have found a fix for this, seems to work. Use the MultiMC installation guide described here and all should be good.

This can happen due to high memory consumption. It all depends on what mods are installed and your pc specs.

Yeah, It's def not this. I only had TFC installed and i have 8 gigs of ram on an i7, with an xfx 6750 hd gpu. But I fixed the issue, for me at least.
