      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. How do I make a 1.7.10 server?

Are you able to launch a forge server with no mods?
  2. How to Use/craft

As suggested by dev, install NEI until wiki is up to date. Bowls are clay now and there have been numerous topics on form 5 blocks left at bottom in bowl shape. Wiki will be updated when people contribute updated info. There is a topic pinned on how you can contribute.
  3. Place hide on sideways facing log and then use knife on it.
  4. [Solved] 79.6 Falling Block Deletes Chest

Ok tested with 1217 and it drops the contents now although chest is deleted, which I believe is intended. Issue solved. Turns out this is related to the ingot pile being invisible issue with 1219+ forge. Once I relogged the items were visible in my inventory.
  5. Version: 79.6.245 SSP/SMP(Single/MultiPlayer): SSP SuggestedName: Falling Block Deletes Chest and Contents SuggestedCategory:Severe Description: A block falling on a chest causes it to vanish along with contents. This may be intended behaviour similar to torches etc. Accidental click with dirt in hand resulted in food chest going poof in winter Out of curiosity I tested with vanilla normal and trapped chest. The chest is broken and the chest and contents drop as entities. 6. The JVM arguments will definitely help for SSP or client side, but if they are having tps issues on a server then they'll want to adjust their launch parameters. Again it may end up needing more RAM, but like the client too much is also a bad thing. From what I'm seeing on my SSP client 2G for RAM is plenty for clients and I would not suggest going higher unless running shaders/HD textures. I do suggest bumping up the permgen as well. -XX:PermSize=128M -XX:MaxPermSize=256MI use this in the JVM arguments I have for a very full pack and they seem to run TFC well.

  8. Version #:79.6.245 SSP/SMP (Single/MultiPlayer): SSPSuggested Name: Knife Vanishing Shift-Clicking when Processing GrainsSuggested Category:SevereDescription: When processing harvested Harvested Grains into Grains with a Knife, if you shift-click to remove product the knife vanishes. Yes I know shift-clicking and TFC don't get along well. This was tested with all knives and grains. Knife works as expected (knife remains in crafting window) when manually removing decay or processing sheepskin and shift-clicking to remove product.Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: Yes*If you answered no to the above question, delete your config files and try to reproduce the bug. 9. I mentioned in my report that I'm aware of that, but the reality is that shift-clicking is ingrained in many of us and this is a pretty severe issue if you have a high tier knife. As is was a very specific circumstance in which it occurred and it was completely reproducible I felt it was worth reporting. As it does not occur for any other function analogues to this with the knife I thought it may be an issue that is able to be narrowed down and solved. Hell I watched Dunk in Terrafirmacrack shift-clicking.
  10. This bug report is for a very specific and reproducible issue. If you have other issues then please properly document them in their own topic. Otherwise this topic gets messy and the issues you discovered won't be noticed to be fixed.
