      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

[Solved]Unamed Item

4 posts in this topic

Hey everyone, TDminecrafters here.

So i was building my new house, and there was nothing in it except for what i placed. I walked scanned the area for any monsters and went out to get on the roof when it was safe. My house is only around 5 blocks tall. I went back inside, and a creeper exploded, which i was fine with. It dropped an "unnamed" item that looked like this:

And when i accidentally placed it in my floor it did this:

This block looks like an air block, cannot be broken, cannot have items placed in it, and cannot have blocks fall into it. Is there anything i can do to fix it, or do i have to move my house, which as you can probably tell by the plank sloped ceiling, took me quite a while.

use an external editor to remove the block. or use sand/dirt(occasionally they seem to 'fix' this by falling into it)

I Strongly suggest the first method of getting rid of it. the later is less desirable and may not even work. Finally, I advise using cheats to '/gamerule mobGriefing false' to turn off creeper explosions(and endermen running around with flowers XD) so there is minimal chance of this occurring again

If there is any use for something like that...

i could make a mini mod with a command "/air" to replace any block you are looking at to air.

It would also be a server mod so admins could give or take it at will or need.

edit: I just couldn't help myself. => http://mrzack.pc-net.at/tfc/mods/Air.zip

You are exceedingly awesome. Thank you so much. im gonna use your mod, cause i still want explosions, and if i accidentally place an unamed i dont want a whole 1053782 command mod bogging things down. Thanks again.. Although this block doesnt have a hitbox at all, so i'll get back to you if it works.

Edit: The mod didn't work, so i took a look at the .info file. 1. I'm not playing on a server. 2. It's very unclear what command i'm supposed to type. is it "/Replace to Air" or just /air? im sure it works, im just not sure how.

Edit (again?): nevermind , i know you made a mod for it, but MCedit made really short work of it.
