ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

Here's a thought for an expansion on the agriculture system to make it more interesting as well as even partially necessary to make a thriving base. Firstly, this would possibly require the removal of most if not all naturally spawning livestock animals in the world. The idea involves boxing off a plot of land using fences and then build a trough with planks and feed (wheat for now I guess). The trough itself will allow the livestock to spawn within the fenced area.

Agreed. I'd like to see both env. damage and ecology - making living underground viable but difficult and very rewarding as well.

The version of NEI that I'm using works just fine with the version of forge TFC uses. I could probably find a way to provide people with the version I'm using. -
Yup the first of 4 books. The first book was made into a movie in '84 (good movie in my opinion) and was made into 2 different games (2 RPG-esque strategy game where you play Paul Atreides: "Dune" and "Frank Herbert's Dune" - based on the Sci-Fi channel's miniseries) and 3 strategy games (Dune 2, Dune 2000, Emperor Battle for Dune). I think there's other things made from the books as well. It's a pretty good series worth reading if you like classics. I played the HELL out of Dune2 when I was a kid heheh. It was a precursor to the C&C games.

I think he means by the 'rules' for forging. Like "hit last" etc. I haven't paid attention to verify this however.

I think it'd be an easy fix if Jeb implemented a routine that caused an update as soon as the chunk is created (only on creation). It'd keep lag to a minimum and make sure everything's settled since it would only occur once in a chunk's lifetime. You'd have a lot of initial world lag though. I guess it'd be best if it was done before the player is spawned into the world.

I do believe the sulfur emitted from volcanic areas can get on trees and other areas because it is in the air.

Living underground ftw! All of that seems like something that'd be awesome for another world (aka: nether, end, etc.) Maybe completely replace nether and end worlds with new custom worlds.
