ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -

I tried to use dynmap myself, but couldn't find a TFC config file.
The map was all messed up with the default config.
Where can i find the right config for TFC?

I would like to suggest another way of using the "Beta 2 Servers" forum topic.
Having the following sub topics,
- White-list PVP
- White-list PVE
- Open PVP
- Open PVE
- CLOSED
would make it much easier to find and maintain all the TFC servers we have.
Are sub topics even possible on this forum?

Just for testing purposes, deactivate your firewall, antivirus/spyware or any other internet security program.
What Java version are you using?
And don't forget to turn everything back on after testing

Linking the inventory to your XP level would be more believable, imho.
At the moment XP extends your life and water stats, but it could also give you, lets say, 1 slot extra for every 5 XP lvls.
The seed bag would also make sense, and save inventory space.
Quiver, imo, is not relevant at this point because the arrows are like throwing darts, it only makes the mobs more angry, and that's about it

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
This always happens to me when i use a 32bit Java.
Remove every Java install and download/install the latest 64bit version, that should fix the Java memory Error.
Also in my signature, i have a step-by-step server and client tutorial.

You are using

that is for MC 1.4.7
TFC needs "minecraftforge-universal-1.4.6-6.5.0.486.zip"
And the API is wrong also

And your Minecraft version is 1.4.7
- Minecraft Version: 1.4.7
TFC only works with Minecraft 1.4.6

I use Magic Launcher, and my mods are in this order
- Forge 6.5.0.486
- Player API
- OptiFine
- ReiMinimap
- Smart Moving
I never had a single crash.
And i just generated a new world, to test if everything works... and i lost an hour because of that!... the seed was so cool i just couldn't stop playing

I think the proper use of this forum and doing it so in a very polite manner will go a very long way.
What i mean by that is,
Give only support in the Support topics. No comments of personal nature whatsoever. Telling someone that we talked about his problem numeres times and giving him the feeling of being dumb or stupid for making such a (for us) simple mistake will only make him feel bad and move on to some other mod. Now, i can imagine very well that answering one thing over and over again can piss someone off...so i say, if you cant handle it, don't post.
Don't let your feelings in Discussion threads get the better of you. Be constructive in describing your thoughts. Saying "this idea is bullshit" or "we already talked about this, use search" or any other comment that makes someone say to himself "f**k this, time to move on", imho, should never be used.
Suggestions threads should be only constructive in nature. I can not think of one idea that could be defined as bad, dumb or stupid, only "it fits into TFC world" or "not so much". After all, all of our ideas are only here to give the devs more stuff to work with. This project belongs to Bioxx and Dunk, and we can only hope that our ideas are on the same page with them. There is no point in flaming someone just because i think that the devs are thinking the same way as i am. We do not know what they are thinking, and it's good that way, it's there project. I think, all we can do is work together constructively on ideas we have, and try to developed them, so that they can be worthy of there time. That way, maybe even get implemented.
