Age: 20 Minecraft Username:thekrazyfool Why would you like to join?: There are several reasons I'd like to be considered for white list, but the foremost reason being growing bored of the strange nature of playing a singleplayer map for an extended period of time which has lead me toscourthe forums for a suitable TFC server. A friend recently expressed an interest in playing along side me and I quickly found your server as a no-frills TFC experience (Vanilla) so here I am writing the application. I could say the generic things like "I want a mature friendly community", but that is implied by the fact that I'm applying here. I'd like to start my TFC multiplayer saga on a mature server free from raiding and griefing. What previous experience do you have with TerraFirmaCraft and Minecraft in general?: Minecraft in general? Sadly too much, I've been around since early Alpha so I'm fairly well versed in the vanilla game. With TFC I played a much earlier version of the game and stopped playing. I recently caught back up to speed with all the new features to the game and having sharpened my skills now seek to take them to a multiplayer stage. I wouldn't be applying to a mature server if I didn't know anything about the game if that's a concern. Any additional information that would help your case: I'm well mannered and sociable guy given a healthy community and will likely get along well with most people. I plan to make this server a hobby of mine to tinker with in my spare time so hopefully I'll fit in well with your server's dynamic. there isn't much to say except I hope I meet your servers criteria. I am in the process of constructing a table that will give information about which type of rock you can expect to find every ore and mineral, along with what group the rock belongs too; Metamorphic, Sedimentary etc. The TFC Wiki is incomplete and I have been forced to trawl the internet for the missing information. I would greatly appreciate it if any of you would be willing to contribute your knowledge and experiences on where to find the Ores and Minerals that are not fully documented, for example Kimberlite and Pitcheblende (along with many others), so that my resource can be as complete and useful as possible. Cyclone and Sciohan I don't know if you will read this or not, but with the reset I think we must decide if we are remaining as a group ( I think we make a cohesive unit each bringing a different skill set and opinion to the group) or if we go our separate ways. I would love to remain a group and continue my adventures with you in a whole new world. The man of steel needs his Smithy and Architect or else he is merely a trace of hematite surrounded with layers and layers of Gypsum. Perhaps Obsidian glass tools could be used in place of tier 1 metals for chisels, with a lower durability of course. The material has been used for tools or millennia.

Gold, Silver (Heavy Precious Metals) are far too malleable to be used for such strenuous work. They wouldn't even make a dent, they would just instantly blunt.

Smelting of Stannite would not be different from other ores, Zinc exists in it's Sulphide ore in TFC and it's processed normally, Stannite doesn't NEED to be an exception unless Bioxx wants to add Roasting sulphide ore's into their Oxides ( A good mechanic I might add) then so be it!

What about the introduction of more Sulphide Ores, the introduction of Stannite would maybe give an alternative route for tin, while also providing copper. We already have Sphalerite, cinnabar and Galena.

Server is Up

Recently joined the server and began chatting with a guy called Sciohan who subsequently invited me to join him and CycloneSP. They have a very nice foundry set up. They also have an area deemed "The Breeding Platform" Which I can only describe as morally wrong. I was informed they lacked Iron and I resolved myself to fix this problem. I set off prospecting the map and I can safely say I was successful in my Ferrous endeavours. I returned proudly and significantly heavier to our compound and proceeded to laden their bloomery chests with my Transitional Treats and left a note deeming the Magnetite and Haematite my gift to them. Having gone through at least 3.5 tonnes of prospecting picks and many Freedom Fighter creepers attempting to paint the landscape with my Innards, I slept.
