      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Well I'm about to get it more back to the start of the topic, my idea was to have an age progression similar to the one in the Age of Empire games with a Thumcraft like research system... most people don't like the idea of that research system so I moved to something similar to TF Craft where you have to have something to get another thing Eg. anvils. Yes you are correct with what you just said but with this new revision of my idea it would probably be a new crafting table.

    @lassesp2142 Yes well if the PvP multi-server thing takes off (I hope it will) and with any luck my Age of Empires style age system takes off as well it will work out so good with the bags and cloths. @srgnoodles You could have coloured versions of the specialized cloths as there are unlimited ITEM IDs

    What is do-able?? the ballista or the arrows in the catapult?? I didn't say arrows in catapult wasn't do-able its just not very affective.

    I would think that you would only be useful for rocks. But there could all ways be Ballista.

    That's a good idea and for PvP you could colour the cloths and weir them over armour so you can see how your fighting with and against.

    Sorry still getting use to the layout of the forums didn't see the page numbers :/ it was to the end of the first page. The 'research' would be something like what you suggested. Just so a new island can't skip all the hard work that the starter island went through. And sorry about my screw up.

    Yes but there are ITEM ID's but because of forge there's 1000's of them so i think we will be fine. And there are about 3 mods out there to exstend BLOCK ID's and there easy to do compared to what Bioxx is doing now so he can do it.

    Thanks. Truly Dayz and TF Craft are trying to do the same thing... Make the most realistic game of its type while keeping it fun at the same time.

    This would work well I think with an idea that I have been developing. Where you research new tech (to a point steam ageish) and possibly different tech trees for the arcane arts and well tech. Where depending on what tree you take you will form groups. So one 'island' could become all tech and then move out to continue its crusade to make eveyone one in the world there tech type. (as there will be 100's of combinations of the tech trees) Like you do in spore. There also could be alliances between the islands and that would be where the trade routes would come in... This would be a coding and bug NIGHTMARE!!!! Unless it was done like Lumireaver said.

    Yes I agree there should be hay / wheat bails that you can place in a pen to feed your horse. Edit: and also carts and stale bags.
