ATTENTION Forum Database Breach 03/04/2019
There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again. -
This forum is now READ ONLY! 01/20/2020
As of this post and forever into the future this forum has been put into READ ONLY MODE. There will be no new posts! A replacement is coming SoonTM . If you wish to stay up-to-date on whats going on or post your content. Please use the Discord or Sub-Reddit until the new forums are running.
Any questions or comments can be directed to Claycorp on either platform.

For various reasons, some of us haven't updated to 1.4.2 yet. (In my case, this is because I'm waiting for all my mods to update.) Is is possible to have some sort of page of old downloads to download this mod for old versions of Minecraft?

This seems like a feature that would be packed with optifine, not terra fima.
Um, no. Optifine is a graphical mod. The suggestion to make water actually flow through stuff isn't strictly graphical at all.

Hmmm ...
Let's start. I'll assume you're a noob with this mod, even if you aren't. Have you tried grabbing the pebbles on the ground to make an axe? You can't break logs unless you have an axe. You may or may not be able to break dirt without an axe.

I like this TP. A lot.

'Also, people shall breathe underwater no longer'
Of all the stupid ideas....
Why would you make 2 meters of water equate to death? I should hope that you've just made a typo there
I think what they mean is that you can use signs/ladders to "breathe" underwater.

Interesting. Very, very interesting.

Weird. According to NEI, the only blocks called "clay" have a clay texture, not a dirt. So I can report that all clay seems to work.

It is bugged, it will be fixed in the next version. So basically, clay is still there, it just looks identical to grass. Dunno if it drops clay as it should, haven't gotten around to testing that part yet.
I checked, it drops clay. It just looks like Dirt.

Reminds me of Defined, frankly. Not bad!

It would be, um, literally impossible, unfortunately.

Sand looks like some sort of leaves, great otherwise!

On the bright side, welcome to the forums
Thanks! Hopefully I'll have a chance to learn a bit more about this mod, wasn't expecting cave-ins, for some reason.
Anyways, I do understand your reasoning and will not pester anyone to make a plugin.

I was just wondering if there was any possibility of making an NEI plugin so NEI can recognize the various ways to obtain stuff. For instance, so it can recognize the various knapping recipes.

I'm experiencing almost all kinds of rocks being pure white. Is this normal?

Hope you're planning on finishing the textures for the stone axe heads and pebble thingies soon, love this pack!

Ore Dictionary
in Support

I remembered (perhaps falsely, I may have been thinking of a different mod) that all the ingots in this mod were registered in the Ore Dictionary. So I decided to check. I set up a MultiMC instance with NEI, Industrialcraft, Forestry, and a few other mods and discovered that IC and Forestry items couldn't be crafted with TFC Copper Ingots.
I'm not exactly sure how to react. Perhaps I should dismiss this, thinking that no way to obtain normal Iron Ingots means no point to the other mods mentioned. Perhaps I should react badly.
I dunno. What does everyone think?
