      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

New (Industrial) Furnace and combing materials

11 posts in this topic

So my idea is to add a new furnace, that would allow people to mix materials like carbon and sand to make glass or mix metals to enforce them and make them better. The furnace could be made like a normal furnace but out of smooth stone, smooth x2 stone or stone bricks, I dont mind the recipe you guys can make it up...

Making alloys and glass thats about it... I'm not the most technicall person ever... It could be used to make bronze? since bronze is made from tin and copper...

Isn't that what the forge and metallurgy table does? Glass has also been recommended a lot too it wouldn't surprise me one bit it were added soon. Did you mean just those three condensed?

Do you even read what you type? Have you even played Terrafirmacraft yet? Do you do your research? What do you mean by "combing" materials? Are you aware that alloys are already implemented? Why would there be an industrial furnace in a realistic from scratch survival game?

All these unanswered questions, and more.

I suppose some people are better left to playing the mod, not suggesting improvements... Sorry mate, but this makes 0 sense whatsoever.

"MIx carbon and sand to make glass"

Why? we can already make it from simple sand in a fireplace/forge -as long as i know, i haven't played minecraft for a while...-

"Mix metals to enforce them and make them better"

Two words: Metallurgic Table

If this even exist, i'm sure it's from the last 400 years... so, simply no.
