      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

uum as you say you use the sluice you are in any 47 build. Honestly in 47 you barley can miss ores the distribution is way better in 47 then it was in any prior build. i just did a quick test with 10 spawns and a straight dig of 500 coords in every direction of my spawn and each time i found at least 3 deposits of ore without even propicking so you are either totally unlucky or you are overusing your words.

Also make sure you are checking the stones on the top layer as they tell you what ore you might find underground. Its a lot better now as all the Tier 1 metals are a lot easier to find. On my server I had to go from 0,0 all the way out to about 400,1500 and found 2 copper nodes , about 6 of the tin and bismuth nodes as well, with 2-3 zinc nodes.
