      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

i can live with that....but lava lava pools are so freaking hard to find...and if u slip ut stuff falls in the lava

Work hazard, i suppose, but i mean, that is why people don't often forge with lava lol, it's damn dangerous.

Either damn dangerous, or damn impossible ._. the only way to find lava is in the proximitty of volcanoes, and, while in TFC you can dig down until you reach that mega lava pool, irl we haven't even got close to the "lava level"...

Mostly because anything that gets close fails, melts, or dies.

Ain't it great that this is fantasy though. I'm just glad we might eventually get lava forges if we can get Bioxx on our side now. :)

thank you DF you your lava forges that seemed to make sense. However putting an anvil over lava won't work as well in TFC XD

Edit : the XD face makes it sound like some kind of collectors edition mod •3•

While reading this, a little dwarven voice shouts "YES!" in my head.

But why not just take something simple like a steel crucible and put it in Magma or Lava to melt the ore inside...

Mine usually shouts "Heroes!!" in a dry old codger's voice

I admit, with an odd feeling of shame, that I didn't understand the reference you made. I have either forgotten what it refers to, or never encountered it. :.(

Hmmm .. Might check out Nox Arcana when I get home though .. Sounds like my kettle of fish :D

Edit: Atmospheric :P I can imagine particularly enjoying them while playing videogames :L .. That said, it felt strange listening to such dramatic music when I was kicking back in my pc chair doing nothing :L

Yogscast, Shadow of Israphael series.

Honeydew the Dwarf (Simon) always voices all the other character's dialogue, and the main NPC often refers to the two as 'heroes' instead of using their names, and since it sounds so funny in the old-guy accent Simon uses for that character, they kindof made a running joke out of that word being pronounced more and more like a raspy old man calling for the hot nurse with his pain meds

The fact that Honeydew is also the 'dwarf' responsible for the 'Diggy diggy hole' phrase and song is what inspired me to make the connection and then the reference.

Also yeah, Nox Arcana is good shit

Blood of Dragons is pretty epic, I'll be using it at the start of my D&D campaign when it finally starts

Ah, nice one ! .. I wish I could have any kind of DnD campaign starting soon .. But all the people who used to get together for it are too busy :(
