      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Can we get a subforum for bugreports?

Can we get a subforum of the normal support forum, cause the forum where ppl would post if they had problems with TFC is getting flooded by bug reports. I would like if we had either 2 forums like on for support and one for bugs or like a support forum with a sub forum for bug reports. Cause like this, the ppl that need support are going down.

I second this. If we're beta testers, we need a place specifically to report the little minor glitches that come with revisions so that the support forum is saved for actual support issues that require deeper concentration/discussion. A simple set of rules could be asked of users too...

- stick to one (or two/three if strongly related) bugs per thread.

- title should include version and useful brief description (none of this "It broked" stuff)

- post must state other mods that are installed first and foremost

Further posts should just be to clarify the conditions, second a reproduction (or state inability to reproduce). Keeps them clean and useful.

Yeah, now that the bug tracker is gone this seems like it'd be a better bet than the support forum, although, really, there's always going to be a fair deal of overlap with someone not knowing if something is intended or not, like the guy complaining earlier about permadeath like it was torturing his cat.

Hahah this is true. That person was quite unreasonable. I don't think many people read much though... miss the giant header on the download page that says this is a beta. Repetition or not though, I think it would be valuable. Posts that end up in the wrong place can be moved or locked as needed.

(Edit: actually it might be useful for forum management just to have someone willing and experienced to manage that single forum. The more streamlined a bugs-only forum, the more useful for the devs, who can then focus their time on that instead of policing an undoubtedly active forum)

Well, its because the bug report got redirected to the support forums.... it would be better if he made a seperate bug forums indeed

We need actually 2 sub forums, one called "Real Bug Reports" and the other called "Stupid stuff that is only being reported because someone didn't read the change log."

Why don't simply delete the "stupid stuff..."? The forum would be easier to manage and read
