      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Is it normal that I went through 2 stone axes and a javelin and STILL wasn't able to kill a skeleton which spawned on a ledge 3 blocks above me?

I finally just said "screw it" after punching it 20 times after all my weapons broke and I ran for my life :D

Combat is getting adjusted in the next release. Note the Change log from the front TFC page.

I guess axes used to viable for combat, but they stink major. Knives stink too. The only thing I tend to use are javelins. Javelins always seem to do more damage from further away as well. The new build looks to stabilize damage/armor, etc. So all the more reason to craft those metal weapons and bludgeon some poor mob!

The changelog is not in the download section. Only because a section contains downloads it doesn't make it only a download section. And also the changelog has a lot to do with the downloads. And you can access to the changelog even from the IRC channel or saving the link.

Next time, make a ton of javelins, adnb throw them (with right click) at the enemies instead of using them in melee. They can one hit a creeper when thrown ._.
