      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Inventory Sorting Mod in 1.6.2?

Hey all,

 

I've been dying for a mod to sort my personal inventory as well as chests. Convenient Inventory seems abandoned from what I've found.  I've fiddled around with Inventory Tweaks, but I cannot get the chest sorting functionality to work. I've read through various discussions and I know people have had this mod working in the past, but I'm not sure about compatibility with the current build.

 

Does anyone have any advice on this?  Maybe a different mod for the same use? I would loooovvvveeee auto-sorting capability. :)

I have Inventory Tweaks and I'm not seeing a problem with it. What kind issues do you have?

I can't seem to get it to sort chests. The buttons that are supposed to be on the chest GUI aren't there, and the sorting hotkey doesn't do anything. :(

Same here, but one of the devs said this mod does not play nicely with TFC anyhow so use it at your own risk.

Inventory Tweaks does what it does by entirely replacing the player inventory and chest GUIs with its own. Any mod compatibility with other storage blocks has to be explicity written in, it can't automatically handle new mods. Since TFC also replaces the chest GUI, InvTweaks will not work unless the author adds code to handle TFC chests.

I believe there is a config setting that you can do in InventoryTweaks to add certain inventories to the mod that aren't there by default.  It's not an easy config though btw.
