      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Suggested Name: Infinite seeds

Suggested Category: (not) Annoying

Description: When holding seed(s) in the hand, rightclicking on farmland when temperature is below zero, the seed instantaneously pops off the farmland but every so often more seeds are returned. This exploit can easily give you infinite seeds of the crops you possess, in regions where it gets cold enough.

Have you deleted your config files and are still able to reproduce this bug?: Yes

Do you have any mods other than Forge and TFC installed?: Yes

If yes, which mods?

Just curious, but are the duplicates real or ghost items?  I've had a few 'duplication' issues where the 2nd item was a ghost that didn't survive reload or trying to move the item.

Technically speaking, this "exploit" is no different then planting the seeds, and then breaking them right away with your fist and repeating. The only difference is that half second to actually break the plant with your fist. Looking at the code however, it appears that when the crop dies naturally there is no skill check, and that it should only ever drop a single seed. As Temujen stated, it's possible that the seeds are actually ghost items and not duplicates, so further testing will be needed.
