      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Lower limit for animal size?

3 posts in this topic

I saw on the wiki (and have noticed in-game) that animal size is determined, at least partly, by the size of its parents. This got me thinking, is there an upper and lower limit for animal sizes? Is it possible for me to breed teacup pigs, and giant mutant sheep? I am mostly playing on a server, so all of my animals are descended from one male and female pair of each type, and while I have a good amount of size variation in my sheep, horses, and cows, my pigs are all the same size.

Is it possible I've just hit a size limit? Or is something else afoot?

Are all of your pigs completely grown? Could you please provide a screenshot of these pigs proving that they are all the same size? It is entirely possible that because pigs are smaller than the other mobs in general, it is harder to tell the size differences within the species.

in b78, there is a hard size limit of 0.7 < 1.3 times the normal size for each animal.
