      Server Move   09/13/18

I (Dries007) have recently taken over as main developer and server admin. This involved moving servers to reduce cost. It's likely there will be some more downtime in the future but most  things should be sorted by now. This forum is in dire need of replacement as the software is quite old and can't be easily updated. If you wish to discuss or stay updated, join our discord: https://invite.gg/terrafirmacraft. The forum will remain available to read, but will be locked in the future, when a new system is setup. The forum and wiki are now ad free. If you'd like to contribute to keeping it that way, you can do so via paypal or patreon.

Need some ideas for a mod I'm making

4 posts in this topic

I'm making a survival-ish sort of mod for Minecraft and I can't come up with a creative idea of my own on how to make stone-age tools without ripping directly off of TerraFirmaCraft. Basically, I don't want to be able to punch trees down, or break stone with wooden pickaxes, but I can't come up with a hardcoreish system of progression. Could you guys help me brainstorm?

What if you had a knapping menu and skill. You select what you wanna make with what size rock or whatever, and depending on your knapping skill you may or may not get what you wanted, and it may vary in quality. In real life even skilled knappers can't make a blade out of every stone.

Search gravel for flint, make flint stone tools from this.
