      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    My little house, while being fairly simple in its build, took literally hours of chiselling. Every single white cedar block has another type of block on top of it, chiselled into shape (door frames, window frames, all sorts of frames, more and more frames. Basically just frames.) Without the chiselling the walls would just be covered in diorite bricks. :D/> In vanilla the house would be just a wooden box, gotta love TFC<3

    That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in a minecraft world. Why didn't you submit this to the TFC birthday contest thread? It would have won! I totally want to see the interior now!

    Imo, I think the red and blue steel, though not real, is still believable. But invisible ore sounds too far fetched. For end game metal, how about wootz/damascus steel? This has already been mentioned in previous posts, but it does fit the time frame and was a highly sought after and incredibly durable steel.

    Um... yeah, this has been talked about a lot. I think Dunk has even stopped by to talk about the possibility of gunpowder as a TNT block substitute in the future on a couple of occasions. They have these three minerals in the game for a reason...

    If this was added, I can just imagine Hitting a sulphur vein and laughing manically for a few minutes. :D

    But seriously, having some explosives for mining would be really really nice. Especially ones balanced for TFC'S blocks. And one with a collecting method that isn't moronic. Go forth and slay creepers!

    I'm hesitant to make this as its not a fully thought out suggestion but we has saltpeter, sulphur and coal... That's the recipe for gunpowder!

    Now I'm not saying we should have guns cause we don't, but gun powder was used for explosives to lol. Basically just replace TNT except you need to place string as a fuse. If you light it directly it just blows up in your face.

    It would be pretty balanced cause it would require two minerals, and iron for the flint and steel....

    This would work great but im curious, was there any explosives used for mining that could be acheived in TFC's time period?

    And to the devs: how do you feel about adding a explosive to TFC now that TNT is uncraftable?

    .__. 9:30... so early... if i REALLY need to be active in the morning, i go to sleep at 11:00, but most of the times you will find me awake at 4:00 am. I either sleep like an hibernating bear for around 12 hours*, or don't sleep at all...

    *This isn't exagerated. I have slept at most 13 hours. And i do act like an angry bear** when someone forces me to wake up.

    **Yes, angry BEAR, not bird -__- i'm NOT ever making a pun 'bout that game...

    EDIT:

    Well, it's both an stomped and confirmed idea. Both things make a thread go quiet when on their own, but as this was both things at the same time... well, the only thing we really can do is wait for Bioxx (or dunk) to clear out what happened to this. If it's confirmed, Bioxx will probably already have his own idea for this, and then it's unlikely he will take more suggestions; if it's stomped, then that's it.

    I do way to much menial labor during the day to go to bed that late. * shudders*

    well, maybe we shouldn't look too high up, seince bioxx doesnt want a total "overhaul" we could just have some tweaks and changes that make combat better than spam-clicking untill the thing is dead

    This is already pretty simple. I think much simpler and it wouldn't be worth it.
