      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Gem Cutting

    that would be pretty cool
  2. Gem Cutting

Yes they are similar but my idea is that you could create sculptures made completely out of gemstones. Personally I would want to make a creeper idol out of emerald, put it in the middle of a testificate village and when they start worshiping it laugh like a maniac and say "Let it Begin".
  3. Gem Cutting

Alright, I know most of you are reading this thinking: "Doesnt this noob know there have already been discussions about gem cutting before and that it wouldn't be implemented anyway because they're still completely useless!?". Hear me out, my idea is less about cutting gems so they're all nice and pretty (and useless) but related to the chisel functions topic. What I mean is I think we should be able to (when the cubit feature is implemented) cut gems into cubits so we can use them in sculptures, mosaics etc. This is still a pretty rough idea but I was thinking that the number of cubits you get for use is related to the quality of the gem and how well you did cutting it. Obviously if this were to be put in there would be some sort of skill related minigame and how many cubits depends partly on how well you actually did it. This is just a rough idea so any suggestions (or bashings) you guys are willing to post are welcome.
  4. Lamps, Candles and Torches oh my! (new lighting ideas)

Tallow is rendered from a form of beef/mutton fat so I think it would be fairly simple to add the items and process necessary since we already have the animals we need.
  5. Ash: One possible approach to fertilizers

I think this is very good idea, but instead of just ash (which doesnt have too many nutrients in it) there could be different kinds of fertilizer depending on what you need. Maybe composting would be a good addition? Also maybe soil pH would be good (if that doesnt make it too complex that is).
