      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    The doors do not respond to redstone signals correctly (activating pressure plate next to them plays the sound but does not open the door).

    It doesn't make the game that much easier, it makes it bearable. Regular MC movement is just obnoxious. Also, on topic. I saw Crysin uses MAtmos (atmospheric sounds) http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/379925-142-matmos-r19-environmental-sound-atmosphere-simulator/ in his Spotter's guide.

    So I had an Idea for how trees could grow - the top block of a tree would be a sprout that with a similar mechanic as a sapling would turn into piece of wood and another sprout plus some new leaves after some time. I can see this working very easily with White Cedars, not sure about how other trees could be implemented. So yeah, just my stupid idea I had while out biking; if you don't understand my lame explanation, I may elaborate later.

    That's not true anymore, I tested it; completely different rock the second time I generated this world. It's been changed recently IIRC.
  7. Seed: "Pre 17" or "-1896312605" You spawn in a thick jungle. But don't worry! Just go towards coordinates of about 150, 150 (that is, forward and left from the facing you spawn) to emerge on a grassy plain. If you climb some of the low hills on that plain, you can see around you: the jungle, extreme mountains with some floaty rocks, swamp with willows and bordering again with the jungle, redwood forest! I had the luck to have the mountains made from granite and jungle basalt, but that will be probably different for you. Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/1DWmo
  8. Hey, sorry to bother you again but do you know what could be my problem why I can't connect to the server? I got all the mods installed and they work properly in SSP, yet the server still tells me I need to have forge installed. And Bioxx just told me in IRC you can't use forge 3.2.4.114 with TFC anyway. Edit: Noticed the forum has a PM system, disregard this post.
  9. Hi, I just tried to join the server with Backpack mod and smart moving installed, and forge 3.1.2.96 (which TFC is currently being built on AFAIK). The server kicked me and told me I need to have forge installed. Then I noticed required mods now include enderstorage, so I went and installed that too. When I tried to join he server for the second time, it told me I am banned. Yeah, kinda harsh, don't you think? Account name: hose_ja Can I be unbanned please?
