      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Thatch is a good material now. It's easy to collect hay and create thatch stacks. They can be placed in а column, they can be used as a material for roof.But it is a different situation in real. Villagers use adobe instead of raw thatch or hay. The recipe is: thatch (or hay), clay (or dirt), water. Form the blocks and dry them on sunny place. Dry adobe can be used as a material for walls. It is cheap and easy to create.The only problem i see is the water bucket availability: creation of bucket requires knowledge of metallurgy, but it is not true in real.

    I would stay opposite to this idea. How often do *YOU* find artifacts and ancient items in real? I'm sure, you didn't find any artifact at all. TFC brings a "salt of realism" to "sugar" MC world. Let's keep original TFC flavor!

    i confirm the topic starter's report: TFC shows less than 20 FPS according to stats screen, but my eyes see 5-10 FPS only. Lag appear on more than 5 chunks long trip. First configuration (first screenshot): Forge Mod Loader version 6.2.61.866 for Minecraft 1.6.2 loadingJava is Java HotSpot Client VM, version 1.7.0_21, running on Windows 7:x86:6.1, installed at C:Program FilesJavajre7Optifine is not used.java.exe has 1.4GB application pool.
