      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

    Maybe the way the game scares the player is: when someone finds you picking a lock and looks at you, you get a screamer! Or maybe just when they hit you. Maybe when someone finds you out you drop your lock-picking stuff and have to click on the small block representing them to get them back. And lock picking could be like a mini-game and different locks can be crafted be metal-smiths to make opening them harder than just clicking on them. Key lock: Requires a key, the more things to turn in the lock, the more the lock-picker has to use his metal stick thingy to turn. Finding and turning takes about 10 seconds if you know what your doing. You simply need to click, and move the mouse around. When you find a small groove (it makes a chink sound when it hits a wall) put the extending end into the groove and let go of the mouse button. Turn lock: Requires a stethoscope and the ability to click. You have to click on it and then move the mouse left or right to turn the knob. When you attach a stethoscope to the chest, you can hear clicks representing where you should stop turning, but stethoscopes give false clicks when they are: less durable, of not-so-good-design, or you are turning the knob too quickly. The more switches are added, the more someone needs to turn. Takes longer to craft and each switch can take 20-40 seconds to crack if you know what your doing.

    Well i was thinking for the butterflies, bees, beetles and wasps, there would be one mob representing a swarm. The mob would be small as a point, but have particles around it and a hit-box as large as the particles. The others would just be normal mobs, small but normal.

    Flowers could be used to make perfume that adds a small buff. (You know, because you smell good and feel refreshed and thus you're ready to take on life) Or maybe flowers could be used as cheap compost material if they add in composting to make fertilizer. (Cause you know, flowers grow fast) Flowers could possibly be used to attract bees, ladybugs, worms, etc. Ladybugs eat bugs that harm your flowers and can be crushed to make spotted red dye. Worms can be used to make composting happen faster. They eat your flowers but can also be eaten by ladybugs. Grasshoppers can be eaten for 2-3 hunger. See the old bees discussion 4 what they do. Flies eat you food and are annoying, but they can be eaten by ladybugs. Wasps are annoying and sting you. Beetles can be eaten for half a hunger. They also eat your plants. Butterflies pollinate flowers. Discuss please Maybe spices make food that normally make you sick, not make you sick.

    Plus the cutting allows for a actual profession as being a meat cutter. Cutting around poison sacs, steering clear of pancreases and bone stomachs and intestines would be dangerous too.

    Maybe when an animal is killed, it drops a carcass item that can be skinned, deboned, bled and all that fun stuff in little minigames. And when something gets hurt or bled, predators will go near there in search of food. Skinning gives well, skin that can be turned to leather or whatever (look up the numerous suggestions). Bleeding makes it so when the carcass is worked otherwise, little or no blood comes out and can be done w/ just a knife and carcass instead of the other ways needing to be done on a crafting table. Deboning gives bones that can be used as tools, sticks, even smashed for whatever. Well, thats my idea.

  17. So, I was wandering the back 3 pages of this suggestions forum and I found an interesting post by dunk: "SMP servers would open up possibilities as well, as it allows for actual skill trades. Some one good at carving could actually be hired to make statues for someone's house. This is also why I feel that the difficulty have blacksmithing should be increased (I don't think Bioxx supports this though) I think that it should be a select trade, that only someone who has done a lot of smithing in TFC could ever be good at. That way, a server could have a dedicated blacksmith, who everyone brings ore to, and who makes tools per their specifications. That would be really cool and fun." Now, before you start saying stuff I'm not implying, I want to say, it'd be very cool to have actual trades. Trades that few can truly master to make SMP more cooperative. You know, like blacksmithing, sculpting, prospecting(well, that's already hard enough) that kind of stuff. I think that sculpture making would be awesome! Maybe stone cracks and falls off randomly unless chiseled just right. That way, you will need to learn from trial and error what works and what doesn't. Just like a real trade. While wood would look worse unless you smooth it with sandpaper. Maybe it'd take a bunch of clicks to smooth it AND when smoothed, . it would reduce by one layer. That way, you'll need to plan to make a good sculpture and make it a true trade. And maybe metalworking could have an easy hard mode the world can be set to so that we have the best of both worlds.     True, maybe there could be maybe a redstone tinkerer who creates redstone mechanisms as a trade. And the redstone generator/off torch would make wood and [char]coal more valuable. It also would make willow farming more important. So, a redworker and a redstone tinkerer, how's that?

    Maybe there could be redworking, the art of creating redstone mechanishms and machines. Add a difficult system for crafting redstonemachines, have torches get placed in their off state, and add redcurrent generators. Also, add a special way to craft said mechanisms that's also hard. (Kinda like using the anvil) IDK what else, just harder to craft the items and torches being normally off.
