      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord ( is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

  1. Dungeon Loot Chests in TFC

    It had recently become a major issue of contention in my TerraFirmaPunk mod pack that all of the Dungeon Loot Chests that spawn in the Ruins and Dungeons are VANILLA chests. As thus they completely ignore ALL of the TFC chests rules and should be a BANNED item. I have tried several mods to prevent these chests from being picked up, or placed in the world, but most either ignore the chests for some reason or just do not work as expected. So I am at a loss for what to do about this issue. I am very happy about the all the awesome work everyone in this forum has done to convert Vanilla water, and machines that use water, into TFC water Is it at all possible to convert Dungeon Loot Chests into TFC chests, or somehow force minecraft to recognize TFC chests as valid Dungeon Loot Chests. I would really need the fix to work with RougeLike Dungeons andAtomicStryker's Ruins mod since these are the mods I am currently using to generate random Dungeon Loot chests in my pack. LOL I really went OCD on TFC tonight started out on a new house then went in search of ores and rocks burnt through 3 bismuth pickaxes and still being eluded by that very large bismuth deposit and because i needed to dig throgh stone more and get another prospectors pick too, I clicked on every single stone i can find and next thing i know 8 hours have all ready flown by 0_o so my question ,8 hours and one numb ass later, is how long have you played TFC for without stopping for more than a pee/coffee break?

I was just wondering if any performance updates are in the future due to tfc currently being a power hog when it comes to both CPU and GPU, this is not anything debatable on our end but im just wondering for hope that low end computers will be able to run Mine-craft with TFC better. and also allow servers to burn less upload speeds when running large servers(im going to be honest i dont even think thats possible but hell, im going to ask anyway) THANK YOU!!   4. On the topic of Random Drops

    So, I'd like to talk about something I just discovered. I'm currently in the stone age of my development in TerraFirmaCraft, and I haven't found a single ore or got a pick or anything. I understand that this is perfectly normal, and I'm not complaining about that. However, I have a perfectly good iron shovel. Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I told you that I have an iron shovel, and, indeed, you might be wondering how I got it. After all, I have yet to be in a position to smith a single item. Well, I killed a zombie. As you may very well know, vanilla Minecraft allows for a small chance for zombies to drop iron tools and armor. Obviously, I also know this. What concerns me is why this feature has been untouched in a mod like this one. Surely, the shovel shouldn't be in perfect condition if I just yanked it out of the cold, dead hands of a rotting corpse? I mean, you'd expect it to be used (and therefore damaged), or rusty, or something, considering that it's there at all. Who agrees with me, and how best ought this to be approached (or why should it not be)? Or for that matter, am I just an idiot? I'd love to hear what you guys think.
