      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

this is true. I've seen the code. It isn't handled by tick like animal age, it's triggered by events. We might make it by tick though, but maybe only one point every 24000. (There are 24000 ticks in a minecraft day) so that means you've run out after 20 days, which is roughly the 3 weeks humans can survive without food.

Make it so doing 'events' also decrease it at a faster rate... like a multiplier. Walking will multiply the hunger decrease by say, 1.2. Jumping will be 1.5, sprinting is 2, and sprint jumping is 3 (1.5*2=3). Also, make it so regenerating health also multiplies the hunger decrease by 2. Multipliers are also multiplicative, meaning they can stack (aka if you're spring jumping whilst healing, your hunger decrease multiplier will be 6. 3*2 = 6).

These numbers are just examples, but I think they are pretty accurate.

It's an integer though, so decimals aren't too great.

Could make the tick count reflect the new ticks per day in the config file, so if you increase day by 2 or 4 times its still 1 hunger tick per day.

I was saying by tick as an example. It would probably be activated at the begining of each day.
