      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

So im working on getting a bronze anvil and tools, but I let the copper cool to much and it became solid. So my question is how should I go about making it liquid again?

Normally, you would smelt Native Copper in a bloomery. However, to heat up metals in a forge. Whenever your metals become too cold, just throw them in a forge.

Is that able to make unshaped copper liquid though? I need to use them to get bronze

Yes. If you put an ingot in, you will need to have a ceramic mould in the side slots to catch the melted liquid, but if the copper is still unshaped, you don't need an extra mould and can heat it up as high as you want as long as you have charcoal and a bellows for the extra heat. Make sure the copper and tin are both ABOVE the melting point of bronze by a good amount to make Bronze. Also, store metal in any anvil to stop it from cooling fast.

It is, Tnoy23. The Forge can actually smelt all the metals as far as I'm concerned. Just be careful, put some molds into the "Mold Slot" or you'll lose your copper.

as far as I remember, Copper heats up pretty easily :)

Forges can NOT smelt ores. They can heat up metal, cook food, make torches, etc, but for smelting (turning bits of ore into unshaped metal), you need either a fire pit or a bloomery.

Firepits can only heat up starter ores. Bloomerys are needed to smelt the more higher-tier metals like limonite, for instance
