      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Melting Anvils

So I've been upgrading through the different tiers of metals, and I now have a couple of old anvils left in a chest that I'm not using, and won't be using. It would be nice if I could melt these back down into their metal components and reforge them into tools or something of the such, rather than have them there just to end up throwing away.

Agreed, it would be nice to be able to recycle the old anvils. Even if you only get half of the metals back, that'd be better than just leaving them sitting there obsolete.

I am not sure how many anvils you have around but I keep current + last three generally because they will have my throw away tools in them. A place I can go to to quickly craft a bronze chisel or the like.Recovering materials would be nice however :)

Keep them as physical achievements of your heroic deeds!

In that case, I'd just melt em down into a block and put it in the wall of my workshop area.
