Now I dont know what exactly Bioxx has planned for the seasons part of the mod, so if im just stating things that are already planned (or even ingame already and I have just been too unobservant to notice) I apologize.

So what I thought was that as the time of year changes so too should the length of each day, not a huge amount but noticeable difference between summer and winter. So in winter days are short and nights long and the reverse in summer.

This I think is already planned judging by the apple tree appearance but saying it nonetheless but I think that trees should appear different depending on the season with no leaves on deciduous trees in winter and no chance to drop saplings.

How annoying to code and how laggy these changes would be I dont know, but I personaly feel that they would add to the feel of the game a huge amount.

I agree with the no leaves part. I was kind of disappointed when they didn't drop in winter.

Maybe just as some trees don't turn colors at the beginning of fall, so should some trees not lose leaves at the beginning of winter. This should be enough of a signal to get your act together and start gathering a few stick stacks to get you through the winter! I guess pine trees would always have their leaves but I kinda likes the idea of having to plan for a drought.

I'm not sure if I like changing night and day idea. Night is already long enough for me

The only problem is that the trees don't lose their branches when they lose their leaves. It'd make winter turn all the trees into stumps. It'd probably be better to just have the leaves all turn grey or brown.
