      ATTENTION Forum Database Breach   03/04/2019

      There has been a breach of our database. Please make sure you change your password (use a password manager, like Lastpass).
      If you used this password anywhere else, change that too! The passwords themselves are stored hashed, but may old accounts still had old, insecure (by today's standards) hashes from back when they where created. This means they can be "cracked" more easily. Other leaked information includes: email, IP, account name.
      I'm trying my best to find out more and keep everyone up to date. Discord (http://invite.gg/TerraFirmaCraft) is the best option for up to date news and questions. I'm sorry for this, but the damage has been done. All I can do is try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

crossbows would look really bad because the stalks would go vertically, not horizontally.

Well, if no guns, then there should at least be rockets and fireworks. It'd be cool to have some chemistry.

I love the idea of a flint lock rifle or pistol :D just like the description near the top, with reloading steps, durability, and as a top tier craftable.

That might be true, but this forum isn't called wishful thinking ;):P

If Bioxx doesn't want any them, I respect him for sticking to his guns :P (God that wasn't even funny)

But continuing discussion about them in the "Suggested Features" section of the mod makes no sense :P

Note: It took a trained soldier at most 21 seconds to reload a matchlock or flintlock.

rocket powered arrows (the precursor to fireworks) might happen, but idk. Fireworks would be fun, but might lag computers :/

Assuming it's not a necessary mechanic for any part of core gameplay and doesn't lock off parts of the game to people who can't use them, I see no harm in that.

It'll give people with fancy golden space computers a sense of justification in having spent all the money they did, that they can pull something like this off, and it won't rob lower-powered users of anything except a quirky aesthetic.

It's almost like a vanilla player making a TNT ball and blowing it - just a little showy aside to say 'hey, guess what doesn't crash my new baby?'

Maybe rocket powered arrows could be wildly inaccurate but scare the shit out of mobs who would then flee rather than attack you.
